Shakkan's bloodlines have sired scores of U.S. National and International Champions.
Shakkan's sire, ZT Shakfantasy, is U.S. and Canadian Top Ten Stallion, 2000 Scottsdale Champion Stallion, World Champion, European Champion and Nations Cup Champion. He traces in sire line paternal to the Straight Egyptians El Shaklan, Sid Abouhom and Nazeer, each of whom has made tremendous contributions to the Arabian breed by adding "type." In sire line maternal, Shakkan traces to the stallion Tabal of Spanish Arabian lineage, who contributed to the breed with both halter and performance champions.
Shakkan's dam Nishka has a strong Russian heritage tracing its genetic lineage to racing champions with excellent conformation and sound minds. In his dam line paternal, Shakkan traces to Bey Shah whose progeny commanded halter classes for a number of years and, when raced, were outstanding sprinters. Shakkan's dam line maternal traces to Bask, whose progeny also won numerous championships in both halter and performance classes and is often in the pedigree of outstanding endurance horses.
